NASA chief Jim Bridenstine said that India’s (A-sat) Mission Shakti is extremely dangerous. He said that due to this, 400 pieces of debris have spread in the interior so that in the coming days there is a lot of danger for the astronauts of the International Space Station (ISS). Due to which this will lead to the emergence of a new danger for astronauts in the International Space Station (ISS).

He said, “However, the good thing is that it was far below the Earth’s orbit and all these pieces would be destroyed over time.” He said that a lot of debris of the anti-satellite test done by China in 2007 is still in space.  breaking news

NASA chief Jim Bridenstine was addressing his employees. He said, “We are trying to track the pieces of Indian satellite, but till now we have tracked 60 pieces of 10 cm or more.” This satellite was located below the ISS.

According to Bridenstine, “24 pieces are rotating around the ISS, they can prove to be dangerous.” It is a matter of concern that after the destruction of the satellite, the debris has reached the ISS. It is not acceptable to us, NASA’s stand is quite clear in this case. ”

The US military keeps track of the objects in space to predict the potential collision of ISS and satellites. Currently, he is tracking 23,000 items for more than 10 centimetres. Bridenstine says that due to the Indian test, the danger of collision between the ISS has increased to 44 %. However, he also said that the hazard will decrease as the debris enters the atmosphere.

Significantly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced in his address on television that India has struck a satellite missile in space. Having achieved this capability, he has joined the line of countries like America, Russia and China.
