Security forces have killed three militants in Keller area of Shopian district of Jammu. The security forces have recovered huge arms from them. The CRPF, Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a joint operation on Wednesday in the Keller area of Shopian. The bodies of two militants were recovered in the morning after firing on both sides. Later, another dead body was recovered. There is a possibility of some more terrorists being hidden in the area right now.
On Thursday, terrorists started firing in Yarro area in Handwara. The security forces surrounded the entire area. It is being told that there are two to three terrorists hidden here.
Earlier on Wednesday, violence in Kasu in Kugar area of Kulgam district in south Kashmir was triggered. Protesters threw petrol bombs on security forces. This led to a fire in a goshala. Security forces had to fire in order to control the violent crowd. Two youths were injured in this. The injured youths have been identified as Faizan Ahmed and Suhail Nazir Bhat.
