Under PM Kisan Scheme, there is a provision for depositing three installments of Rs. 2 thousand rupees for each and every sowing season to small and marginal farmers in their bank account. Its first installment has been deposited in the account of 30 million farmers. The scheme will be given to six thousand rupees every year to every farmer. The benefits of this scheme will be provided to 12.5 million farmers, which will give financial assistance to small farmers before the sowing of crops.
The benefit of ‘PM – Kisan Samman Yojna‘ is given to the farmers having less than two hectares of cultivated land. State Governments will provide their bank accounts and other details to the Central Government along with the holding of such farmers. After his confirmation, the central government will deposit money directly into the bank accounts of such farmers. The role of the digital system in the success of the scheme is proving to be crucial.
