नई दिल्ली: आज मेजर ध्यान चंद जी की जयंती है, इस दिन को सम्पूर्ण देश में खेल दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। प्रत्येक वर्ष इस दिन खेल रत्न अवार्ड, अर्जुन अवार्ड आदि के लिए नामित खिलाड़ियों को राष्ट्रपति द्वारा सम्मानित किया जाता है। इस वर्ष भी इन अवार्ड्स के लिए नामित खिलाड़ियों को अवार्ड से नवाजा जाएगा, लेकिन इस बार कोरोना की वजह से ये शो वर्चुअल होगा। खेल मंत्रालय ने इस बार खेल रत्न और अर्जुन अवार्ड के लिए इनामी राशि को बढ़ाया है।
राष्ट्रीय खेल पुरस्कारों के लिए नामों की घोषणा
